About Jacquie

Psychotherapist serving the Adelaide Hills

Jacquie Cliff

Hello! I’m Jacquie Cliff

I started my exploration of the mind/body relationship 15 years ago when I undertook my training in massage. My belief that ‘what goes on in the mind is mirrored in the body’ led me to train in both Counselling and Radix Body Centred Psychotherapy, along with a number of other modalities.

My broad knowledge base and experience enables me to have a deep holistic understanding and approach to the psyche, physical structure and energetic processes of each individual person.

I offer a supportive environment facilitating awareness for change, growth, healing and, connection with self and others. Underpinning this environment is my empathy and compassion, strength and belief in a life force which manifests uniquely in each and every human being.

Within my training as a Radix therapist I have engaged in my own deep therapeutic process. I feel very strongly about this; how can I encourage, support and facilitate the deepening of my clients primary feeling processes if I have not fully explored my own?

“If I hope to promote growth and change within my clients, then I must be willing to promote growth and change within my own life.” Jacquie.

I offer individual sessions, groups, one day and residential workshops from my Adelaide Hills practice. I work with individuals, couples and families.

Professional and personal development

I am deeply committed to my own professional and personal development. Meeting professional industry standards for the supervision of my work monthly, and engaging in professional and personal development on an ongoing basis throughout each year.

As a part of my professional life I have been an executive member (Secretary) of the Radix Body Centered Psychotherapy Association for the past four years. I am also currently engaged in the two year Trainer Training Program with the Australian Radix Training Centre.

I regularly assess the final workshops for certification of second year Radix trainees.

In 2016 I have successfully facilitated the Online Radix Reading Program. This is a nine month online reading course with monthly online meetings, which serves as an introduction to Radix training. Radix Online Reading Program
